Sleak Property Services LTD is a company registered in England & Wales (company number 15654453), with its registered office at 10 Cavendish Road, Blackpool, FY2 9JR. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect
We only collect the information we need to quote for and carry out your job:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The address of the property and details of the work you need
- Photos or videos you send us of the job
- Messages, call details and emails between us
- Payment and invoice details once work is booked
How we get it
You give it to us when you call, message or email us, or use the quote form on this website. The quote form doesn't store anything on our website: it opens your own email app with the details filled in, and you choose whether to send it.
If you're a landlord, we may also receive details from your letting agent or managing agent so we can arrange access and send them quotes.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract)
- To arrange, carry out and invoice the work (performing our contract with you)
- To keep business and tax records (a legal obligation)
- To follow up on a job or ask for a review (our legitimate interest in running the business, which you can opt out of at any time)
Photos of your property
We take before and after photos of jobs for our records and, for landlords, as evidence of the work. We'll only use photos of your property on this website or our social media with your permission, and never in a way that shows your address or identifies you.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information or share it for marketing. We only share it where it's needed to do the job or run the business:
- Our email and file storage provider (Google Workspace)
- Our website host (Vercel), which keeps short-term technical logs such as IP addresses to run and secure the site
- Our accountant, and HMRC where the law requires it
- Your letting or managing agent, if you've asked us to work with them
- Specialist trades, such as an electrician or gas engineer, only where you've agreed they need to attend
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and doesn't run analytics that identify you. Some links (for example to Google, Facebook or Instagram) take you to other sites, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don't go ahead for up to 12 months, in case you get back in touch. If we carry out work for you, we keep the job and invoice records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax purposes, and then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Email us and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
