Can I use your quote for a deposit claim?
Yes. Our end-of-tenancy quotes list each repair separately with its own price and dated photos, which is the kind of evidence deposit schemes look for. We can't advise on what you're entitled to deduct, but your evidence will be clear.
Can you start before the deposit is sorted out?
Usually, yes, as long as you've got your evidence first. We photograph everything before we start, and you should have the check-out report in hand. If you're unsure, check your deposit scheme's guidance.
Do you work with letting agents?
Yes. We can take instructions from your agent, arrange access through them and send quotes and photos to both of you.
Do you take on HMOs, flats and holiday lets?
Yes. We work on shared houses, flats, communal areas and holiday lets, and we can fit repairs around changeover days.
What if there's damp or mould?
We look for the cause before we redecorate: blocked gutters, failed sealant, leaks or poor ventilation. If it needs a specialist, we'll tell you rather than paint over it.
Is the work insured?
Yes. Sleak Property Services LTD carries £5m public liability insurance.
